Objective: The objective of Indian Rummy is to create sequences (at least 2, including 1 pure sequence) or sequences and sets by arranging the 13 cards in your hand.
Sequences and Sets: A sequence is a group of 3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit. A set is a group of 3 or 4 cards of the same rank but different suits.
Card Selection: On your turn, you can either pick a card from the open deck (the top card facing up) or the closed deck (the top card facing down). You must then discard one card to the open deck.
Creating Sequences and Sets: As you collect cards, your aim is to form sequences and sets by organizing them in your hand. A pure sequence is a sequence formed without using any Joker cards.
Finishing the Game: Once you have formed at least 2 sequences, including 1 pure sequence, and arranged the rest of your cards into sequences or sets, you can declare your hand. To do this, discard one card to the "Finish Slot" and reveal your entire hand to your opponents.
Validating Your Hand: If your hand meets the criteria of at least 2 sequences, including 1 pure sequence, and the remaining cards organized into sequences or sets, your hand is considered valid.
Winning the Game: If your hand is valid, you win the game. In online cash games, this can earn you a substantial cash prize.
